Hi, I am so happy to announce the Pattern you’ve been asking for is now available in English!

#Kyoto_kimono is the raglan style wrap around cardigan with the lace stitch pattern on, worked top down in one piece, designed for sizes XXS - XXXL.

Skill level is intermediate, although the pattern is beginner friendly.

All stitches and techniques are given in written directions as well as demonstrated in video-tutorials.

Yarn: 3 (3, 3, 4) skeins of Midara Angora 2, 50% mohair, 30% acrylic, 20% virgin wool, 750m (820yds) per 100g skein, using 2 threads of yarn held together.
Alternative yarn: Drops Alpaca or Drops Baby Alpaca Silk, 167m (183yds) per 50g skein, using a single thread of yarn.

Knitting needles: US 6 / UK 8 (4mm) circular needles, 32’’ (80cm) length cable for body & US 6 / UK 8 (4mm) circular needles, 40’’ (100cm) length cable or US 6 / UK 8 (4mm) double pointed needles for sleeves.

Gauge: 19 sts & 27 rows is 4’’ (10cm) in Stockinette stitch on 4mm sized needles.

Step-by-step knitting Pattern includes following techniques you might be interested to learn:

1. Lace stitch knitting pattern charted;
2. Raglan yoke worked back and forth;
3. Sleeves worked in the round from the underarms;
4. Crochet hook Cast-on method;
5. Kitchener stitch to seam the front band to the body;
6. Hem and cuffs shaped with the I-cord and many more.
